Ask Landy browser storage

Ask Landy can save an unsent draft and whether the panel is open in this browser, and restore them when they are less than 24 hours old. Older saved drafts are not restored; you can also remove site data in your browser settings. The draft contains what you type, so avoid putting confidential or sensitive information in it. Ending and clearing the chat removes this saved draft. This storage is not a saved enquiry or a record of the full chat.

The assistant also keeps conversation and handover references, note status, the contact and enquiry details you share in the chat, and the summary you review for a note in this tab’s session storage. Ending and clearing the chat clears the saved contact, enquiry and summary values in this tab; minimising the panel does not.

The assistant can also use a temporary reference in this tab’s session storage for service analytics, and local storage to remember your analytics choice. Genuine user openings can send visit events when service analytics is available; automatic or restored openings do not count as new visits. These signals contain no message, voice or contact content. The Ask Landy analytics control turns off those analytics for this browser, and the assistant honours Global Privacy Control. This control does not block embedded video requests.

Embedded video

Some pages embed videos from Vimeo. Displaying an embedded player can contact Vimeo and allow it to set or read cookies before you press Play. The current player is not held behind a click-to-load or cookie-consent control. Your browser’s third-party cookie and tracking settings may restrict this activity. Managing cookies and storage
