Mike Del-Giudice

Contracts Manager, Arboriculture

Tell us what needs bringing back under control, and we’ll talk through the work.

Take back an overgrown space.

Long grass, overgrown shrubs and neglected beds can make a space hard to use. We cut back, clear and remove the green waste so you can see what comes next.

What's included.

  • Cutting back overgrown shrubs and hedges
  • Strimming and mowing, however long it's been left
  • Weeding beds, borders and paved areas
  • Pruning trees and shrubs back into shape
  • Clearing fallen leaves and dead vegetation
  • Tidying beds and cutting sharp edges
  • Removing all green waste from site
  • Leaving the whole space looking cared for again

Think of it as a deep clean for your garden.

Ideal for.

  • Gardens that have simply got away from you
  • Getting a property ready to sell or let
  • Larger homes and grounds ahead of viewings or valuations
  • New properties with neglected gardens
  • End-of-tenancy / landlord clear-ups
  • Overgrown commercial sites
  • Getting everything reset before regular maintenance begins

Site Rescue & Clearance.

The same idea for business premises: a one-off intensive clearance for a vacant unit, neglected commercial plot or site that's got away from whoever was managing it — reset before a new tenant, sale, or regular contract begins.

Wildlife checks before clearance.

We assess potential impacts on wildlife and protected species before work begins. Checks are made site by site, taking account of the vegetation, site conditions, known ecological constraints and the time of year.

Nesting birds

Our teams carry out appropriate visual checks for nesting birds, including ground-nesting birds and nests in trees, hedgerows and dense vegetation. Where active nests are identified or suspected, we review the work and put appropriate precautions in place.

Specialist ecological support

Where protected species, such as great crested newts, are known or suspected to be present, we work alongside suitably qualified ecologists. Where required, they carry out pre-work inspections or surveys, or provide an ecological watching brief during operations.

We also repair and maintain reptile exclusion fencing, under the supervision of appointed ecologists where necessary.

Not every clearance needs a specialist ecological survey. Where site conditions, ecological sensitivities or legal requirements call for further assessment, we make sure appropriate specialist advice and safeguards are in place before proceeding.

People, environment & governanceOur approachClose

Good work, properly accounted for.

Landywood's ESG approach starts with what we can evidence: how we employ people, how we work on living sites and how we keep commitments clear.

People

Our teams are directly employed and developed in-house. The wider team page shows the people and roles behind grounds maintenance, arboriculture, landscaping and fencing.

We do not publish individual manager contact details here. Landy, the main phone line and the general email route enquiries to the right person.

Environment

Our work is rooted in managing land well: grounds maintenance, tree work, planting, landscaping and site clearance. The shop is being reworked around biodiversity-supporting products, with stock and pricing to be confirmed before launch.

We will add measured environmental evidence as it becomes available.

Governance

We set out the services, team and coverage area openly, and keep the contact journey direct. Existing accreditation and insurance information is published where relevant, with figures marked for confirmation where needed.

Ask Landy helps route an enquiry without replacing a conversation with the team.

What we are building next.

Future evidence, not current claimsCommunity projects, biodiversity projects, sustainability measures, supplier information and practical site outcomes will be added here as they are documented and approved. This page will grow from evidence, not promises.
